Helping Hand for Relief and Development Leadership visits Medical Bridges
February 14, 2014
HHRD held their 2014 Annual Conference in the Space City and Medical Bridges had the honor of hosting a reception and tour of our facility.
HHRD is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human suffering in emergency and disaster situations around the world. In addition to their emergency relief efforts in natural or man-made disaster, they also work in long-term relief and development programs. During 2011 Medical Bridges partnered with HHRD to deliver 6 forty-foot ocean-freight container shipments filled with much needed medical supplies and equipments. Since then Medical Bridges has delivered a total of 37 forty-foot contaner shipments of hope to developing countries on behalf of HHRD.

Dr.Farrukh Raza, HHRD president & CEO, and Dorothy Bolettieri, Medical Bridges president & CEO, signed an agreement to send 12 additional shipments to HHRD supported facilities in emerging countries.
We are grateful for our partnership with HHRD and look forward to continuing making an impact on many lives by bridging the healthcare gap worldwide.
